That would make a great side plot for a spy or superhero series. One villain uses clones as body doubles until one of their clones is accidentally created good and overthrows them, that character then gets an arc trying to keep pretending to be their progenitor to the rest of the villains while also convincing the heros that they’re not the same person.
…wouldn’t all clones of putin be evil? Isn’t that kind of like clarifying that you have ordered the wet soup?
