I don’t know, I think having too many European communities (!europe@feddit.org , !europepolitics@feddit.org , !buyfromeu@feddit.org ) on the same server seems like we are re-creating Reddit, shouldn’t we have different similar communities on every instance possible? That way we’ll be fully decentralized, with thousands of communities with one person posting!
I don’t think the issue is where it’s hosted. The issue is that the software allows it to dominate. Things like this should drive improvements in the front ends.
Maybe it’s time to move to !BuyFromEU@lemm.ee, I don’t think lemm.ee users use their local feed as much as the feddit.uk ones
