    I didn’t bite the onion, but I did get unjustifiably angry at a parody. Then I realized I was so angry because this may be parody, but it’s one of those jokes where they just say the truth really really loudly. This is how the CEOs actually think.

    Then I realized I wasn’t unjustifiably angry. Just angry at the wrong source. Shift that anger away from the parody website and towards the actual CEOs, and now my anger is justified, and directed in the right direction.

        Yeah, sometimes the best satire is just saying the quiet part out loud to highlight how warped the discourse is surrounding an issue. Like, they’re riffing off of The Onion’s sadly perennial headline whenever there’s a mass shooting:

        ‘No Way To Prevent This,’ Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens

      I don’t like a lot of comedy (The Office for example), because I find the hell on earth they are lauging at impossible to make fun of. It’s too real for me.
