I remember when I was a fundamentalist evangelical christian pro-life activist in my late preteens/early teens (picketing clinics was a favorite family activity), we used to have signs that said ‘Adoption: the loving option’.
Turns out, maybe they don’t care about adoption anymore. Just wombs.

I think they are just authoritarians. They just want people to fall in line, follow orders, and shut up. Logical inconsistencies in their arguments or policies? Well fuck you logic is for nerds.
Don’t want to play ball well too bad you’re probably a witch anyway. Don’t think the Earth is the center of everything? Do not pass go and straight to jail!
