Democrats don’t have a comprehensive worldview that can explain why they are so widely disliked and why so many people are apathetic/actively hostile towards America. Russiagate fills the gap in their understanding of the world by imagining that Vladimir Putin is a Great Man of History and that his perfidious scheming is responsible for all of the ills of America’s democratic system.
