Russian military raided another store in Kursk >region

In August, Russian soldiers robbed the Kapitosha children’s clothing store in Kornevo (less than 20 km from the border). The corresponding video from the store’s surveillance cameras was published by blogger Michael Naki. The camera lens captured a soldier in a Russian uniform stealing cash from the children’s store’s cash register. The date of the shooting is listed as August 12.

“And this is our Russian army, our defenders,” a female voice behind the scenes comments on the recordings from the Kapitosha cameras in one of the videos.

The authenticity of the video was confirmed in a conversation with ASTRA by a local resident who left Kornevo (he asked to remain anonymous). He claims that “according to rumors , the military broke into almost all the retail outlets.” His family’s business also suffered from the Russian military, the man says, although he was told about this by witnesses - and, accordingly, he does not know for sure what exactly the military stole.

In August, videos appeared online showing Russian military personnel robbing a Wildberries warehouse and a mobile phone store in the border area of the Kursk region.

After, in a two-day span, someone posted:

      (a) a security camera video of two Russian soldiers sent to the area where Ukraine had invaded burglarizing a mobile phone store in Russia

      (b) an announcement by Russian authorities that Russian home security cameras need to be disabled by their owners because they might be broken into by Ukranian intelligence and used to gather intelligence

And given the context of Russia evacuating a ton of residents from the area, so there are lots of unoccupied residences sitting there…

I recall commenting “this isn’t going to end well”.
