They have Nik Suresh (the author) on, as well as Robert Evans. I haven’t listened to it all yet, but it’s fun so far.

Oh cool, I’ll give it a go for the guests. But I find the host of Better Offline to be a little grating with his editorial comments. Like, when Jack Rhysider of Darknet Diaries does it there’s less vitriol.

Edit: aaand now I’m downloading a bunch of the recent ones lol. I really like the subject matter, but I’m still not sure about the podcast as a whole.

Funny, since my #1 issue with EZ is that he pulls his punches a bit too much IMO. Just call Altman a talentless cunt mate, we all know that deep in our hearts.

Rhysider’s editorial comments come off a bit naieve and even a bit childish at times. His good attitude is sort of infectious though.

I agree but yeah it’s the wholesome attitude. That, or a bit of comedy (like how Robert Evans does it in Bastards), is what I find better than the Better Offline take. They’re all dealing with negative things but in different ways.

Maybe the difference is that Rhysider is doing journalism and Zitron is much more soapboxing. I’m hoping he gets the rants out of his system early (or maybe confines them to his blog where they’re more than welcome) if he’s going to continue doing interviews, because there are moments where he injects his own opinion after a guest answers and it’s a bit awkward. His interview with the Onion guy was great, but his interview with the SEO wizard was kinda painful at times, even though she had really interesting things to say.
