Text rearranges so its kerning appears slightly off when scrolling past the bottom of the page.
I find it more noticeable looking at the video than in this gif, but it’s still not a big deal.
It feels like the screenshot is breathing.
Are you referring to the animated stretchiness of the text as you pull up from the bottom? Because I believe that’s just a responsive element of Google’s Material Design. I don’t see anything happening to the kerning itself, but then I’m on mobile, it’s a gif, and I’m tired.
No, the text also shrinks horizontally while stretching vertically. This is a bit weird, but I second that it seems quite minor as an issue
It’s relatively subtle on my phone, and even more difficult to spot in this gif, but concentrate on the bottom-most comment, the “a few” and the “because they”, and you can see how the text squeezes up horizontally when I scroll down.
Strange, I don’t see this behavior on my device. Not sure what information would be relevant to debugging this though.
Happy cake day!
(I didn’t even realise Lemmy displayed cake days. Is that a new feature?)
Oh man, now you have pointed this out to me, I cannot not notice it on my device also hahaha argh
I can’t stretch it on my phone. What Android version is this?
Android 14 on Pixel 7a.
(Side note: wtf Google, why did I not find that information under “System”?)
Not sure if there’s anything we can do about this one, but open up an issue on the github.
