1·9 days agoThat’s not how it works when you have a messaging platform where the server provider can secretly pair additional devices. Send PGP encrypted mails if you want it differently.

0·9 days agoI’m sure if AMD or Intel don’t get their act together and produce something that more efficient than whatever Qualcomm have in the pipeline, that’s what’s going to happen.
I just hope Valve will have stated by then to entice ARM native games instead of wasting performance on emulation.

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•SteamOS for ARM Handhelds v1.2.1 (unofficial port of Steam Frame's OS)
0·10 days agoI’m not the developer but my guess is that they want to distinguish this from Armada which is something like Bazzite but using Arch Linux where everything is recompiled.

0·10 days agoThey take the binary SteamOS image and add a different kernel and some other auxiliary stuff to port Valve’s image to new devices.
That’s broadly similar to what Linux Mint does to Ubuntu or Bazzite does to Fedora. Sometimes this is referred as a remix instead of a fork.
Edit: typo from wrong autocorrect

What I’m saying is that Signal have a conflict of interest when it comes to Google and other customers.

Their clients are but they sell proprietary licenses, so when they proclaim that There is no WhatsApp ‘backdoor’, you have to take their word for it.

3·2 months agoPretty sure I’ve read months ago that the maintainers said they’ll try to support it as long as possible but at the moment v2 support is removed from the source code, they’ll won’t have the resources to add it back again.

I think they are but so far to a lesser extend. I only know the name because it was mentioned in one of the attack reports.
my understanding it’s an economic damage measure
They literally sell military gear. To this day.
They had a massive segment of military goods for sale.
Had?
They also distributed general military gear
Still do. That’s why they’re still a legitimate target.
Am I correct in my understanding that Ukraine is targeting Wildberries because they were distributing parts used to manufacturer drones for warfare?
They sell all kinds of wares that help murder Ukrainians.
Russians signing up for the military need to get their own equipment since quite some time.
Same with Wildberries competitor Ozon:

This is a port of SteamOS, Armada is not.
