I fucken love waffles. Homemade waffles are the best you can put whatever you want in them. Diner waffles are great because they’re always big and fresh and come with those scoops of butter and you didn’t have to do any of the cooking yourself. Eggos are great because you can just pop them in the toaster and munch on them as you walk to work or school - no butter or syrup needed.

11·1 year agoThis is sad to hear but without reading the article I’m good ng to guess this has to do with shutting down equipment due to power constraints. It has a limited amount of fuel that can’t be refilled because it’s literally the furthest man made device ever. It sucks but the program will have to end at some point, its been 50 years which is amazing they’ve been able to keep in touch with it

Climate@slrpnk.net•No new clothes: South Korean climate activist targets hyperconsumption13·1 year agoThe fast fashion industry is terrible. You tube has an entire category of people who try on clothes for videos. They always buy them in bulk, theyre all cheaply made and i guarentee they wear them once and return them saying, “oh it doesnt fit” and the economics of scale and general money say its easier to just trash those returns than to try and clean them and resell it. Ive got gift cards piling up for clothes store because i only buy clothes when they absoluetly need to be replaced

Fun fact when it comes to nuclear power plants the cooling towers arent releasing nuclear waste or heavy chemicals. Its litterally just steam from water. All nuclear plants do is use radioactive material to heat up a contained pool of water kept at a pressure that prevents it from boiling awayand which is piped through another container of water that is at a lower pressure so it boils before the ‘nuclear’ water. That steam from the ‘non-nuclear’ water is then feed through a steam turbine to produce electricity before being sent through a condenser to be reused.

It might be based off the image you used, according to the image source: high-angle photography of grocery display gondola
This is an aerial shot of the groceries section of the Fred Meyer superstore in Redmond, WA. I took this picture while on vacation in the Pacific northwest. I had seen a similar picture of a Fred Meyer store in Portland, OR and hear that this store had a publicly accessible vantage for taking an aerial photograph. I took the shot in HDR mode and used Photomatix to produce the finished image. Fred Meyer, Redmond, United States Published on January 11, 2018 Free to use under the Unsplash License
