i didnt mean to be rude, if i was. Im sorry. I dont even know if there are places that will rehab a squirrel. I can think of like 3 places where i live that will take birds and turtles/tortoises/sea turtles but not where to take squirrels. The idea of catching a squirrel to take it to rehab kinda assumes quite a bit. I also dont have money to pay a squirrel’s rehab bill if it were to cost me money to fix a broken squirrel.

Hopefully the hopping around means its doing okay,relatively. As much ok as a squirrel can be doing I guess. Mobile is certainly better than not at any rate.

The photo is hard to make out but it’s looks to be in pretty rough shape, tbh. Is it moving normally? It looks pretty young. It looks like it may have had some recent damage and its head is swollen. Its eye looks damaged too.

Ideally one would take it to a rehabber for antibiotics and maybe if there’s an object in the eye removing the object, but I’m not sure what the options are for what looks like a juvenile eastern grey squirrel in general.
