You can call it free-handing (i just look at things and simplfy them when drawing kind of thing). I do share some Wip screenshots on Mastodon and sometimes i do timelapse videos too.

I start with black&white values to begin with, then when I have a solid composition, I start adding colors.

Oh they’re inhabited, by multicellular life forms, yet uninhabited by reason and peace, as for Vulcan only time will tell us whether it’s a Sol rock or not.

I’ve added it to emphasize the sunlight, but I guess it could work both ways.
