I really tend not subscribe to conspiracy theories, but so much was weird about that assassination attempt that’s so bizarre:

1. Crooks was spotted by multiple law enforcement officers prior to the shooting and even had his picture taken in position several minutes before any shots were fired
2. DJT was brought to his feet and escorted to safety arguably too quickly after the shooter was downed, before multiple shooters could be ruled out
3. Photographers seemingly ushered into position by SS to capture DJT’s triumphant fist pump when that was arguably of lower importance than securing the area
4. But the real kicker for me is - DJT seems like the kind of guy that would never shut up about something like this, but I have only heard him mention it a couple of times. That also works against these theories though, because I’m sure it was traumatic and probably still haunts him.

Eh whatever. It’s interesting to ponder, but there’s not much that can’t be explained by incompetence.
