I think the Retributive Strike has to be an intentional action by the attuned wielder. I don’t think damage from external sources triggers it, even if it breaks the staff.

My interpretation is that fascism wounds Harry because it really isn’t in his true nature. It’s a weak, self-defeating philosophy that blames scapegoats and eschews responsibility. For Harry, denigrating women and ethnic minorities is a symptom of his pain and despair. It’s a way to avoid self-reflection. Fascist Harry clings to spite just to distract himself from sadness.

In a game that’s fundamentally about rediscovering yourself, finding purpose, learning to heal… struggling to keep your head above water in a world that drowns… the fascist mentality is like a dead weight around your neck.

I’ll try not to spoil anything, but when/if you get the special fascist political quest from Endurance, I hope you follow it through! It’s very humanizing and thought-provoking.

His nonprofit organization provided battery recycling bins and signs in visible, convenient locations. People otherwise may not have known where, how, or even why they should recycle their batteries.

Literally every adventure where we have to enter a potentially dangerous castle/mansion/tower. We’re going to climb or fly up to a higher level window because obviously if there’s a trap or ambush, it’ll be at the front door.
