You can’t be this deep in the thread and drop a gem like Benjamin Bussin’. I keep checking back and get frustrated that no one else is upvoting.
Okay, NOW the egg is cracking.
Trellis the lot of it. What could go wrong?

He will happily estimate how many cashews you have by counting how many cashews you give him and forgetting how many he already counted from time to time.
That’s what the lid is for. To stifle the just and stealthy liberation of such rashly restricted food.
I’ll admit I just kind of assumed it was climate change related. The classic weather versus climate fallacy now seen in reverse. With climate change still being a real existential threat that must be stopped, but could be it was more of a passenger on this ride.
More of a warning that humans can’t control as much of the environment as they want to believe they can.
When I was a young teen and getting into creative writing, I was trying to come up with new fantasy novel ideas. I asked my dad if he wrote a fantasy book what it would be about, and he described a pleasant tropical island vacation with well appointed accommodations and complimentary frozen drinks. Which, to be fair, I don’t see a lot of in speculative fiction.

“Would you like me to fold your shirt?”

I wouldn’t be bothered if the label said my food might me a bit radioactive. But I imagine dragons would.

Yeah, 2 tines and 4 handle is a pretty good fork, I’ll admit. I just worry about the concave shape of the top side of the handle causing the edges to dig into my fingers with long-term use.

Ukraine@sopuli.xyz•'He's just tapping me along' — Trump admits Putin may not be interested in ending war on Ukraine
8·1 year agoTrumpism:
Ukraine should concede Crimea and anything else Russia wants - but Obama should never have let Russia take Crimea!
If you elect me, I’ll have a deal made on day one - but whatever deal I make they won’t take it, it’s all Biden’s fault!
I’m going to put tariffs on every country in the world except Russia because things are already so tough for them - but they won’t listen to me, somebody needs to sanction Russia!
I think Ukraine needs to apologize to Russia for instigating such an aggressive war - but why won’t anyone acknowledge how smart I am on foreign policy?
Let’s see… we’ve replaced our forests with gas stations, burnt down the rainforests in favor of monoculture farms, acidified the oceans to kill all the diatoms… I think we’ve put Earth’s oxygen production systems into as much peril as possible.
Billionaires: hold my deep sea mining rig.
Those prongs are fine. The handle, though, it’s like having a huge counterweight on the back of the utensil. I can imagine liking it if it’s always been that way or if you have big hands. Otherwise, handle number 5 is the clear improvement - no sharp edges, properly balanced, not shaped like a wedge. Could hold that fork for days.
It is clear to me that the only explanation for your preference is nostalgia.

Yep, also exposes darker land masses which absorbs more heat. And thaws methane and CO2 which gets released into the atmosphere. And warms the atmosphere itself which can then hold more water vapor which also acts as a greenhouse gas. Not to mention slowing ocean currents and the die-off of diatoms leading to reduced atmospheric oxygen. We’ve been warned about this stuff for decades. If only anyone with any power actually did something about it.
