You shouldn’t have to apply to be a citizen of somewhere you’ve lived your whole life. If your parents were immigrants and you’re not, you should have dual citizenship from birth.

Also, citizenship shouldn’t exist, but if it has to, it should be permissive enough that someone could never be refused citizenship of the only country they’ve ever lived in.

Also he’s encouraging governments and politicians to stay, and letting the media be controlled by a fascist.

Actually, we need some new language to describe what Bluesky is. Federations are geopolitical alliances between equals. But Bluesky instances are centralised, with one relay acting as a truth source for many PDS servers. So to extend the analogy with a hierarchical geopolitical alliance… well that’s an empire. Bluesky is an empire. Bluesky is designed with an imperial mechanism. Bluesky is imperialised. That’s the new word for what Bluesky is.

So Bluesky doesn’t have any federated servers, and couldn’t federate with itself even if there were other servers.

Looks like the nice people, the canadians, the LGBT, the trans people, the furries, the new zealanders, the programmers, the germans, and the environmentalists defederated with Hexbear, in terms of instances that have a strong theming. The only common trend I can identify between those groups is that they all tend left of center. Except perhaps the germans, given current events.
