I was being serious and opening up about my struggles. I don’t really appreciate this response. The upvotes on this compared to mine makes me think my reservations about coming back here were correct.

As someone who has abused both alcohol and cannabis, I can say cannabis is much less harmful. However, it’s pretty easy to go overboard with it. Like most things in life, it’s best in moderation. I enjoy it once or twice a week now, sometimes even less. I think if you’re getting drunk or high every day there are probably some other issues at play.

USAins are incompetent/impotent/whatever word you want to use when it comes to diet. It’s not entirely their fault, they are not taught proper nutrition. It doesn’t really matter if you tell them to eat this or that, they will do it in the unhealthiest and most wasteful way possible.

People here are deathly afraid of soy because they are just so masculine.

The only solution is for the entity to be completely dismantled.

But in better news, stuff like this has caused me to learn how to make most things from scratch, which I really enjoy.

I love salmon fillets, especially in a cesar salad, but I have decided to transition to vegan. I would cook them in a cast iron skillet. They are good for pretty much anything.

I don’t agree regarding his opinions on Israel and Iran, but I’m not going to go to bat for him.

I’ve only seen his stuff recently, so I don’t know much about his past. He has had good commentary and interviews about Israel and Iran.

Doomerism is very toxic even if it is mostly aligned with reality. If you have the chance to disengage sometimes, you should do so. There are numerous times over the last year where closely following world events made me lose the will to live. Things are bleak, but you have to find peace where you can.

I don’t hate Owen. I watch his YT videos sometimes. I really don’t think he’s that bad.
