She believes that all Indigenous people of all lands of the world are “Black” and that Black people are the “original” people of every region on Earth. She believes that most Black Americans are not of African descent but instead fall under some “Aboriginal Black American” kind of category. She thinks these “Aboriginal Black Americans” lived alongside those who are more commonly known as Indigenous Americans way before the transatlantic slave trade. She pointed to Melanesians and Aboriginal Australians as “proof” of this in a way to basically argue “See, Blackness isn’t only from Africa!” I can’t with this. I genuinely liked her but hell nah.
