If I’m just an average American citizen working to survive, exactly what does the GOP stand for that is beneficial to me? Every move they make seems designed to screw over some particular group. They threaten, block, and disrupt but never offer any solutions.

I rarely ever vote for a GOP candidate so take what I say with a grain of salt. I’m just baffled at why an average American would support them.

they have no policy, just preaching hatred, taking rights away from minorities, and giving tax cuts for the rich & corporations while running up the national debt— and then blaming democrats for everything that’s wrong with he country.

Because years ago, Ronald Reagan tied conservatism to Christianity and many Americans got it in their head that you need to vote red to be a good Christian. Regardless of what their Holy book actually teaches. The GOP might not help them much, but at least they’re against the evil gays and communism.

Must be exhausting to be mad at everything, so I get why they want to stop.

Nah, “law and order” is just that they want to be more directly mad at black people, instead of mad at the secondary effects of considering civil rights
