I’m especially sure the Utah police department won’t get involved in any way and create a ton of content for YouTube Lawyers.
i can’t be arsed to look into this Lego thing, can someone help a lazy out with a tl;dr?
Mormon mafia steals hundreds of thousands of dollars of Lego and tries to cover it up via corrupt police departments in multiple states
It’s worth looking into, easy if you got tictok, but the TLDR is big company breaks contract with old man who was selling a lot of expensive star wars Legos on consignment at one of their franchises, proceeds to rip him off for about 200000 dollars, then when a famous YouTuber files suit and wins, they just shut down the store, so YouTubeer files another civil suit, the Utah cops all work together to harass and arrest the claimant instead of the actual criminals at the store. It’s a wild story!
The whole story is wild. Reminds me of that Netflix story about the internet coming together to locate that cat killer who turned out to be a psychopath… Seeing the entire internet rise up in indignation of the injustice, the attempted cover up, the totally cool and legal police behavior… Yeah it’s justice pron. Love it.
I’d be happy to help. I operate a resale Lego shop franchise that may or may not allow consignment and I may or may not be selling my franchise to another person in a few months. Hard to say. I have a bunch of stickers I can put on your sets so I remember they’re yours.
Cool.
FYI I’m friends with this very irresponsible YouTuber, so if anything bad happens to my Legos he may do some whack shit.
if anything goes wrong don’t worry you won’t need a lawyer at all. just contact a YouTuber and he will sort it out
