Brazilian president Lula da Silva’s party calls him “desgracao” (disgrace) after a financial report reveals the president and leader of the Workers Party of Brazil purchased a 2 million dollar beach home in Miami Florida which is rented out to film porn, just one year after he became elected president of the south American country.
Many politicians within the party are condemning Lula calling him a traitor and suggesting he should step down as president. “You failed the people” says close ally Bernuto Alejandro “the people were there for you and you disgraced them… stand down.”
President Lula is in his final year of office and has yet to choose a successor, but this current scandal doesn’t bode well for the workers party who may lose the lead in the next election.
