Remember, it’s okay to be classist as long as you’re hating on people richer than you.

This sounds like argentineans, that pride themselves on not being racist and just hating on poor people (while using racial slurs to refer to anyone poorest than them).

You can absolutely be racist while not being (terribly) racist to people you know.

This is like saying you can’t be misogynist because you are related to women.

I have a friend who’s a classist bastard and I can’t help but feel his opinion would be a tad different if he wasn’t birthed by a suburban white couple.
